When the Quarz does not work, the Timer does not start and is always 0. The Quarz is used for the LSE on the Timer I use for the timings in my code. I have to reset the STM32L073 to make the Quarz work. When I plug in the cable connecting the board and the PC and powering the chip, the Quarz does not work. On the board, I use USART for communication with a PC or another device. The Quarz is connected to 2 9pf capasitors for gnd, as specified in the manual. I use a STM32L073 VBT6 LQFP100 with a CC7V-T1A 32768 kHz Quarz as input for a Timer. So, am I doing something wrong? Ought I open a MacPorts bug? Can somebody help, please? Thanks. And it's uncomfortable to keep shifting it back and forth also, I might forget. I don't think it's wise to leave it pointing to Xcode when building MacPorts ports.
